How do I correlate two different variables in a datset?

Let's use the OBERHUBER dataset as an example and correlate latent heat flux and sea surface temperature.

  1. Note the variable abbreviations in the Dataset and variables list: sea surface temperature = sst, latent heat flux = lhfx.
  2. Enter Expert Mode by selecting the "Expert Mode" link in the table at the top of the page.
  3. Enter the following lines in the text box below the text that is already there and then click "OK".
